Research Interests

I’m interested in the molecular mechanisms underlying pulmonary hypertension, specifically the role of the sodium-hydrogen exchanger isoform-1 (NHE1) in the vascular physiology and pathobiology of the lung. Other interests rely on the role of oxidative stress in the lungs and pulmonary vasculature and well as hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction.
