Research Interests

I am deeply fascinated by organoids because they bring together biology and engineering in a remarkable way. I really enjoy working with these complex structures because they give me the opportunity to study the detailed processes of how cells are organized and function in a very controlled setting. Furthermore, I also study transporters and solute carriers, which are important for maintaining balance within cells and exchanging nutrients in these organoid systems. This field of research not only helps us learn more about human biology but also creates new opportunities for finding new treatments.
