Information for International Students

International Students

Johns Hopkins takes great pride in the diversity of our campus, and JHU graduate students come from a wide variety of countries and continents.  The CMP program aims to admit the best candidates, regardless of nationality, and international applicants are encouraged to apply to the CMP program.

For international applicants, interviews are typically conducted by skype rather than in person (unless the applicant is currently in the US).  Typically, international applicants are extremely competitive with the domestic applicants; each year it is common for at least one admitted CMP student to be an international student.

The Office of International Services is an excellent source of information for prospective students (housing/banking, etc.), and also provides assistance with visa/immigration issues.
